Are you looking for some fun places to take your kids on your next vacation?! I have some ideas to share with you. We have traveled to all of these places with our kids and had a blast.
Los Angeles, California
There are so many great things to do in Los Angeles with kids. You can do the walk of fame and put your hand prints in the same spot as the stars. Check out Venice Beach. Our kids loved watching the skateboarders here.
Check out Santa Monica Pier and spend some time at the Malibu beaches. There are also a ton of great museums. If you have younger kids they will love the Kidspace Museum. Older kids will enjoy the Science Center and National History Museum.
One of our favorite things to do was to climb up and behind the Hollywood Hills Sign!
There is no shortage of things to do in Los Angeles and the surrounding area.
San Antonio, Texas
If you are looking for history, cowboys, and fun be sure to check out all the great things to do in San Antonio with kids! We loved walking the Riverwalk and enjoying a meal over looking the river.
Up next head to The Alamo to learn all about the history of the area. If you can time it with a day they have hands on exhibits set up outside.
From there you can visit the gorgeous Japanese Tea Garden and spend time running around Brackenridge park. Or head over to Legoland, Six Flags or 1 of 3 aquariums located in San Antonio.
Chicago, Illinois
The windy city is a great destination to explore with kids. Our top things to do in Chicago with kids include The Escape Game, the Childrens Museum and the Sky Deck. Would you walk out on the glass floor of the 103rd floor?!
Another thing we loved to do in Chicago was the Best In Chow Food Tour. The kids loved trying all of the different Chicago staples from pizza to hot dogs to beef sandwiches. OK I enjoyed trying all of the food too!
There are also so many great museums in Chicago and the Shedd Aquarium. Plus some really cute towns just outside of downtown that are well worth exploring.
Page, Arizona
If you are looking for some outdoor adventure there are so many great things to do in Page, Arizona! We kayaked on Lake Powell to a gorgeous hike. Did the Antelope Canyon guided hike – which is unbelievable!
Visit Horseshoe bend for unbelievable views. But make sure to hold your kids hands here! Spent time at Lake Powell where we did some paddle-boarding and kayaking. If you are looking for outdoor adventure Page is a great place to go!
Gulf Shores, Alabama
If a beach vacation is what you are looking for you won’t be disappointed with all the awesome things to do in Gulf Shores, Alabama. You can stay at the gorgeous The Beach Club Resort by Spectrum Resorts and enjoy pool and beach time.
If you are looking to get out and do something head to Alligator Alley or book a jet ski or parasailing adventure.
For dinner be sure to head to the Hangout where the kids can play in the foam party that goes on every hour!
There is a ton of family fun all around Gulf Shores!
