How many men do you think pushed for a 9-10-11 wedding date? What an easy anniversary to remember! Falling on a Saturday, September 10, 2011, will see tens of thousands of wedding celebrations across the country, and likely the globe. TheKnot.com and WeddingChannel.com, two popular wedding sites, report that more than 37,000 of their readers are getting hitched this Saturday – a numerically pleasing date. Talk about some overworked florists and videographers!
Sixty wedding ceremonies are scheduled at The Chapel of the Flowers in Las Vegas on 9-10-11.
Las Vegas, the wedding capital of the world, is also prepping for an influx of visitors for all of the nuptials scheduled there. For example, the Chapel of the Flowers has three different wedding chapels and two outdoor sites for ceremonies, and they are booked all day long and into the evening of 9-10-11. Director of Marketing Aimee Stephens reports that 60 weddings total are scheduled for September 10, 2011, and typical Saturdays see 25 to 40 weddings.
But 9-10-11 is nothing compared to the number of ceremonies scheduled already for 11-11-11; the Chapel of the Flowers already has 76 ceremonies on the books for that date this fall!
If you’re in Vegas this weekend, it sure sounds as if you’ll encounter plenty of bachelor parties in the bars and white dresses on the Strip.

Well we guess we’re outside the norm, because we wanted to get married on the exact day we meet/our first date. So, 4 years later on September 12, 2007 we did just that …our wedding was like a fairy tale plus it was on a Wednesday.
