Best Family Travel Advice: New Travel Planning Resource

Exciting news from The Vacation Gals! As our readers know, one of our passions is sharing family travel information, describing child-friendly hotels, tips for traveling with children, and details of our favorite family vacation destinations are part the overriding philosophy serving as the basis for this travel blog. Informed choices make family vacations a lot smoother. Today, we’re excited to be part of a new web-based venture. Best Family Travel Advice is a long-in-the-works project we’ve developed with other family travel experts, and now it’s officially launched.

Best Family Travel Advice is the brainchild of Amie O’Shaughnessy, the Editor of Ciao Bambino. We joined forces with Mara Gorman and Michelle Duffy, who run Mother of All Trips and Wandermom, and created a question-and-answer website which, when it grows, will serve as a database for family travel topics. Ask a question, get an answer from an expert. The answers are short, easy to understand and direct, and each answer contains a link (or more than one) to more detailed answers on our own travel blogs.

There are so many questions that parents have about taking vacations with their kids, and we know we can’t answer them all.  Our current list of highly respected content partners are the bloggers at Delicious Baby, Backpack to Buggy, NY City Mama, Travels with Children, The Travel Mama, Travel Savvy Mom and Pit Stops for Kids. These family travel experts all share our goal: Helping parents feel more comfortable and secure in all aspects of trips with the kids. Vacationing with babies and children isn’t always a piece of cake, but when we’re armed with tips and suggestions for making those family vacations well planned, it’s easier.
