‘Tis the season to start Christmas shopping! My family is especially excited for this holiday season because we have a toddler in the house. While last year was all about wrapping paper and boxes this year is already showing signs it will be a memorable one as the older kids can’t wait to bring the magic to life and see her open the Christmas gifts. As you likely know, toddlers are busy, curious, and very, very active. That’s why I recommend these three Christmas gifts for toddlers.
Katebaby. Have you ever put an outfit on your little one and thought, she is never wearing anything else? That’s how I feel about Katebaby. The first thing I noticed was how soft these darling pajamas are. It ends up that Katebaby clothing line is organic. Compare the feeling of organic clothing to manufactured clothing treated with chemicals and there is no comparison. Not to mention, I recently learned chemical laden clothes are linked to various health and behavioral issues. It occurred to me recently that my husband and I buy organic foods every week. I’m guessing 90% of our groceries are organic, so I should be shopping for clothes with the same high standards. As for cuteness, the Katebaby line gets an A+. My little Maisie runs around in her little matching pajama sets, whizzing by in her colorful hearts, lavender or bows and arrows PJ sets. I can’t get enough. Katebaby is made in the USA, not far from Kara, in Aspen. You can visit Katebaby‘s brick and mortar shop if you’re in the area, but in the meantime you can shop Katebaby online. You may even want to give your little ones these Christmas gifts early!
smartTrike. My toddler is in an in-between stage. She’s too little to ride a trike but getting tired of sitting in the stroller. She wants to go-go-go. The solution: smarTrike ($99). Created for children 10-26 months, this convertible tricycle grows with little ones and give parents the option of steering stroller style. In fact, there are 5 positions, each ideal for the baby or toddler’s activity level. The smart “touch steering” technology allows parents to offers smooth and easy maneuvering. She had ridden it inside and outside Maisie loves it! She sits up proudly and holds on to the handles and enjoys the ride. If this is going to be a Christmas Day present I recommend setting it up ahead of time if you can so you’re not up late on Christmas Eve since assembly is required. While the smarTrike in the photo is pink there are a variety of designs and colors to choose from.
Trunki. I have been seeing this adorable line of ride-on rolling luggage for years but only recently have I seen them up close and personal and are they cute! If Trunki is new to you, you’re in for a real treat. Designed as handheld luggage, the assortment of themed cases can certainly hold the little one’s trip clothing, but it also works as a carry-on bag so you can pack it full with your inflight entertainment and needs like books, blankets and toys. The best part though is tots ages 3 and up can tap into their creative kids side and roll, play or be pulled around while waiting for their flight. If you’re searching for a Christmas gifts for a traveling toddler – check out Trunki. Maisie’s Bluebell Trunki has turned into a toy at home as well. Toddlerhood is good!
