I totally understand how you feel about not making it to Austin - I would have been disappointed too. But it sounds like you had a great time and if your kids are like mine, the outdoor pool probably more than made up for it. It was really fun to follow your travels, especially since we've been to some of the places you visited. You did a great job of describing everything. Now go home and relax!
