Some of us travel for spring break over Easter, some of us go crazy with the chocolate Easter Bunny sugar trip and Easter egg hunts, and some of us spend a quiet day reflecting on the true meaning of Easter. No matter how you plan to spend your Easter holiday, ending a day with a luxurious bath will make it better. LUSH is my personal favorite for at-home spa treatments; the fresh, handmade, and mostly organic bath products always help me feel relaxed and happy. This spring, we here at The Vacation Gals are pleased to help LUSH to give away a Happy Easter gift set, right here on our travel blog.
The Happy Easter gift set comes in either pink or yellow, and I actually don’t know which one LUSH will be sending for this giveaway. Surprises are fun, too, of course! The pink Happy Easter gift set is a huge Candy Fluff Bath Bomb hollow egg-shaped shell (good for at least 4 baths, in my estimation), containing a Creamy Candy bubble bar and Rock Star soap – both are pink, and vanilla or candy scented. The yellow Happy Easter gift set is, obviously, yellow: The outer bath bomb shell is molded from the famous LUSH Honey Bee Bath Bomb, and contains a Ma Bar (this bubble bath bar smells of chocolate and honey) and Honey I Washed the Kids soap. Because the gift sets are hollow, LUSH warns that they may get a little cracked in transit. Both come gift wrapped and look lovely.
To enter this LUSH giveaway, leave a comment below describing one time that you really needed a relaxing bath. The giveaway run from now until Tuesday, April 6, at 6:00PM PST. Yes, that’s a couple of days after Easter Sunday. Hey, it’ll help stretch out our Easter celebration, right? You can enter once daily per email address; the winner will be chosen by Random.org, and no immediate family members of The Vacation Gals should enter. Good luck!

Since it was just my birthday, I thought I’d share a recent experience that had me seriously in need of a nice relaxing bath. I had jury duty on my birthday! Then, I went to go grab drinks with some friends for lunch at my favorite restaurant, but I forgot my ID…so no Margarita for me. Then, my dad didn’t even call to say happy birthday…he sent a text message. Nice huh? Then, one of my best friends who lives out of forgot to call to say happy birthday, until the next day. Then, to top it all off, I had given up sugary foods, so no birthday cake. Needless to say, it was my crankiest birthday yet. I actually *did* take a LUSH bath that night(with the Dorothy Bubble Bar, which is ironic too, because when I was born The Wizard of Oz was on tv and my mother *nearly* named me Dorothy…), was the best part of the b-day. I’d love to win this! Thanks so much Vacation Gals!
Right now I have 4 little girls running through my house like banshees! Think a relaxing bath will definitely be in order tonight!
Pretty much any day after work. I actually also have an SI joint issue like Linda above, as well as piriformis syndrome. So every day after sitting for most of the time at work, a nice hot bath helps to loosen the muscles and make me feel better.
I need this because Ive had a rough few months healthwise. Wound up having surgery to remove staph infection from my illium(pelvic bone) and SI joint in February! Was in hospital for Valentine’s Day even!
Right now because I am going through the break up blues.
cold and raining here for days! I need an escape even if its only in the tub!
I need a relaxing bath at the end of everyday – but most days I’m too tired to take one!
I really needed a relaxing bath this January when I was splashed with muddy slush on a walk home!
When I had people yelling at me all day at work.
It is not uncommon for me to work outside alongside my husband for an entire day, when I do, I get filthy. Dirt everywhere, twigs in my hair, and crud under my fingernails make me feel unfeminine. A bath takes all that away and restores me.
I need a bath RIGHT now!
I’m taking college courses, and everything is going wrong at the moment! I can’t keep up and extremely frustrated!
My parents come to visit about once a month and I usually need a nice bath after that. thanks!
I have a four-year-old, a three-year-old, and a two-year-old, so every Friday night, after a very long, hectic, and noisy week is when I really need a LUSH bath. Or any time that my MIL comes to visit also. A very LONG bath…
After an aggravating day at work or a really bad commute, I could use a LUSH bath!
Thanks for the giveaway!
I have been on my feet all day. My back is aching and my feeet. I really could use a LUSH bath!!

After dealing with my crazy MIL! Ah, the holidays!
The day I came home from the hospital after my mother went through emergency surgery and came through with flying colors
After I have had a day dealing with a certain person at work, I need a relaxing bath. Trouble is, if I took a long bath after every time they made my life miserable, I’d be waterlogged.
Today. My father is dying and I am down here on a visit to help him. This was one of those days where he is raging at the world and there was nothing I could do but stand there and take the brunt of it. I wanted to cry, to yell back, anything. But I didn’t.
During one of our recent snowstorms, my husband was working and I decided to surprise him by shoveling the driveway. with 12-18 inches of heavy snow and one very long driveway, it took me about 3 1/2 hours to complete. I was physically exhaused and cold. I soaked in a hot tub of epsom salts for quite some time
.
I really need a relaxing bath TODAY!!!! Ugh, I’m 8 months preggo and I have a 5 year old who is only in school for 1/2 a day, and a 22 month old daughter who is a drama queen AKA temper tantrum thrower for no apparent reason!

After taking 2 airplanes that were both delayed.
sounds weird but AFTER returning from vacation
The time I need a relaxing bath is after I work out with P90X. That really gets your muscles sore and since it’s the start of bathing suit season here in Florida I need to get in shape fast! And that means super body aches.
I had just spent the weekend moving. There was one disaster after another, it seemed, and everything took hours longer than expected. My new place had a jacuzzi tub (something I’ve never had before), and the only thing my muscles wanted at the end of the process was a hot bath. But I fell asleep in my clothes before I could even unpack the towels! Sigh.
I need a nice relaxing bath after hours of driving.

The weekend that everyone in my house was sick except me!
When Spring comes, I have A LOT of yard work to do. I go to bed aching and exhausted every night. One day last week, I had my Ipod on while I was working and I lost track of time. When I saw that I had 3 garbage cans worth of weeds, I KNEW I was going to be in pain the next day. I could sure have used a bubble bath that night!
I could use a relaxing bath after every holiday. Oh, the stress!

After a long day of work
One time would be last night when I had a headache.
I need a relaxing bath arter babysitting for my neice.
The most recent, tonight. My 4 younger kids were stressing me out, I’m almost 39 weeks pregnant & was ready to cry. lol
I could cheat and say everyday, but I won’t. I work in an elementary school. On my birthday the 2nd graders kept asking me how old I was. I gave them hints…I’ve been married 35 years; I have 2 children, one 33 and one 27. Their guess? “83″. I turned 58 that day. I was only comforted by the knowledge that their concept of time isn’t realistic!
I could use a bath the most after getting dirty with ink and paints for my silk screen projects. I literally feel like I get covered from head to toe. It never fails, even if I’m screen-printing on a t-shirt with a paint design, I somehow end up with ink in my hair, on my forehead or mysteriously on my butt. I’m a messy painter!
The time we got stuck in a massive thunderstorm and ended up staying in a hotel for the night.
To unwind after a long stressful day of work.
a relaxing bath helps relieve the stress of a job interview after months of being unemployed.

Right now because I am going through the break up blues.
I live with my husband and 3 active boys. Any night is a good bath night especially with LUSH.
A bath sounds pretty amazing today since I have a lot of cleaning to do for the holiday. I’d rather just soak all day and make everyone else doing the cleaning
Another time that a hot bath was at the top of my “to do” list was this winter, after hours of shoveling snow. With 2+ feet of snow on the ground, and a long sidewalk and driveway to clear, I spent over 3 hours (on a couple separate occasions) shoveling snow. A hot bath was just what I needed to warm up and loosen up my back muscles!

I need a nice hot bath today! I am a graduate student and while everybody else is enjoying Easter break I am in the throes of exam time and trying to wrap my mind around end-of-semester assignments and presentations. My mind definitely could use a little relaxation at this point!

After a fight with any of my friends or family, I need a relaxing bath to chill out.
After a long day of holiday cooking and festivities, I need a relaxing bath.
I always like a bath when I’m feeling under the weather….it relaxes me and makes me ready for bed.

A relaxing bath is in order if one is having problems sleeping- the warm water will lull you into sleepiness.
I needed a relaxing bath YESTERDAY, too! I spent the morning and afternoon doing a ton of spring cleaning. I couldn’t bear the thought of dirtying up my sparkly-clean tub, though! LOL.
After a week’s worth of camping in Yellowstone with my four kids and husband.
Pretty much everyday I need a relaxing bath, I rarely have the time though. With 2 young kids, 3 dogs and a husband who works out of town, things can get to be a bit much for me.
After Thanksgiving dinner with my in laws, this is the second time I’ve done this and each time I hate it more. Always ends in an argument.
