Only $30?? That’s great! I ziplined in St Lucia a year or so ago – loved it, in spite of the whole high up in the air thing.

My 8-year-old and I tried to zipline in Hawaii but could not find an outfitter that would let us because she was under the minimum age but here in Oregon there’s a place (Treesorts) where kids as young as 4 can zipline! Instead we went MOUNTAIN TUBING, which was a blast.

Mary Jo – I SO don’t like heights, really. But surprisingly do okay on ziplines. Since this was my fourth time, I felt very at ease.

I’ve always wanted to try ziplining, but wondered if a bit of a fear of heights might interfere. Your post makes me want to throw caution to the wind and give it a try.
