Texting, checking emails, surfing the web and talking on the phone while out of the house or office are all distractions our society has 
happily embraced. And why shouldn’t we? The convenience is too tempting to let pass. The problem is knowing where to draw the line – and that line is the car. It’s called distracted driving. From the moment we sit in our car seat our attention should be 100% focused on the road. Unfortunately, the ring of our cell phone or chime of a new email catches our attention and we fell the urge to pick up our phone (this includes entire families: teenagers, moms and dads) and takes our eyes off the road.
A group of ladies over at TheMotherhood.com have launched a public service campaign: Mom Sends the Msg in hopes of reducing distracted driving, something that can be as dangerous as drunk driving.
