The countdown is on. Hopefully you have started your holiday shopping, but if you’re still looking for stocking stuffer ideas for the traveler in your life, we have some ideas. The other day Jen revealed the coffee lover’s gift guide for travelers and today we have a few more suggestions for you.
Shoes. Shoes in a stocking? Yes, indeed. If they are Lems Shoes that is. This Boulder, Colorado, based company is based off the three F’s: flat, flexible and fits the natural shape of the foot. That means you can surprise your loved ones with Lems in their stockings but they can also be folded for travels.Lems can also be tossed in the washer and are super lightweight at 7 oz. I have a couple of pairs and give the Primal 2 Shade a thumbs-up.
Fitness trackers. It’s been almost three years since I started wearing Fitbit the digital pedometer and have since tried a variety of models. My favorites are the clip-on Fitbit One (steps, stairs, sleep) and Surge, the wristwatch, tracker, heart rate monitor that I wear today. 19 month after having my last baby I’m finally getting back to 10,000 steps (it helps having a child who likes going to the kids’ room at the fitness center). Fitbit helps motivate me and keeps me accountable.
#Selfie stick. Regardless of how you feel about this narcissistic trend, the self stick really does come in handy. I like our Pocket Click Stick ($15) because there are five of us and getting a good picture (especially when no one else is around to take one) can be challenging. So many times the landmark in the back gets missed due our many faces. But not with a helper. The Pocket Click Stick is 10.75 inches but extends from over 6 inches (17cm) to almost 26 inches (66 cm). At 7 inches folded, this model easily fits in my Tom Bihn Synapse backpack or oversized Coach purse. It also easily holds my iPhone 6 plus. But forget me and my needs, the kids love it with their phones, too.
Good luck finding the perfect gift this year!
