When my mother-in-law asked for help in planning her trip to San Diego this summer with her sister and her six grandchildren (!), I researched properties in the area. I found the Homewood Suites San Diego Airport Liberty Station ranked #1 of all hotels in San Diego by Trip Advisor. With that incredible endorsement, plus its multi-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens, included hot breakfast, included light evening meals Monday through Thursday nights, and outdoor pool, this property was a slam-dunk for keeping the kids (and grandma and great aunt) happy during their California vacation. Indeed, the hotel got rave reviews from both generations for its spacious and clean rooms, location convenient to major attractions and “really good waffles for breakfast.” The Vacation Gals highly recommend Homewood Suites for its family-friendly amenities.
