Santa was good to me this year: He brought me the super-stylin’ L.L.Bean “Personal Organizer” Toiletry Bag.
Actually, I came home with this toiletry kit after a family Yankee Swap (a.k.a. Chinese Auction or Blind Gift Exchange; you know, where you open gifts according to random number and can trade for other folks’ gifts?)
Actually, I brought the toiletry kit (filled with travel-sized toiletries) to the party and stole it from my mother-in-law. (Hey, I really wanted it.)
The medium-sized bag, ideal for weekend trips, so says the L.L.Bean marketing copy, has seven zippered pockets and loads of pouches for makeup, hair ties, lotion, etc. The coolest part is that the bag unzips to hang, with included hook, on a towel rod in your hotel room. A separate little hooked pouch for mini-shampoos and a razor can detach to accompany you into the shower. Monograms on the outside of the bag are optional. The medium size is only $24.95. Even the large family size is a reasonable $34.95 — remember L.L.Bean products are built to last.
I used my pretty green bag to pack my toiletries (as well as my kids’ toothbrushes and fruity toothpaste) for a four-night trip over New Year’s, and I didn’t even use two of the zippered pockets. I think this would be plenty big enough for me on a week-long vacation (but my make-up routine is minimal).
Now I want the small size to throw in my swim/gym bag for those days at the pool or when I shower after a workout. If hubby is reading, and I know he will at some point, remember that my birthday is coming up in six short months. For the small one, I’d like the “Blue Wave Island” print. Thanks, sweetie!
Im havin’ some difficulty trying 2 load your weblog. I’ve been read it(blog) many times before & never gotten something like this, but now when i try to load something it just takes a little while (7-11 minutes ) and then just stop. I have tried with www or not. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Please ask your support guy at hosting..And, yes, thanks for your blog!
