Love of Hawaii

No, never again I said more than once
then you came along riding that big one
I dare not lose, I dare never to be without.

You’re my breath of life my Hawaiian girl
I pinned my heart and pinned my future on
as we danced through the luau’s and dreams.

As lovebirds on the run surfing the big waves
of paradise, our souls found in winds off Maui
on sunset sails I have awaited your hand in love.

It’s a long, long way from anywhere to find love
where pearls lie deep in Hawaii’s ocean garden
I learned to exchange more about love and life.

Never the less and never the more it’s Hawaii
that captured our heart and released our love
for at her command all love must obey her.

She is our paradise now and forevermore
the pleasures of life; our love is hers too
for were lost in her sands of time again.
