Book Giveaway – Getting Naked for Money: An Accidental Travel Writer Reveals All

Getting Naked for Money

If the title of this book doesn’t get your attention I don’t know what will. My friend Edie Jarolim has recently launched her latest book: Getting Naked for Money; An Accidental Travel Writer Reveals All. This┬áis her memoir based off her travel editing, writing and blogging career and it’s a fun read. She’s getting rave reviews on Amazon. Here’s my personal review:

I’ve been a fan of Edie’s since I read one of her stories in MORE magazine, which happens to be the same ediestory this book’s title is based off. Since hearing about Getting Naked for Money I’ve been anxiously awaiting its arrival and it does not disappoint. Edie is quite the storyteller and hilarious. I started this book in a car service waiting area and laughed so loudly that I turned heads. Every travel writer has a personal story to tell and it’s such a privilege to hear the pains, adventures, excitement, and evolution behind such an impressive career that was launched when print outlets were the only option. I highly recommend this book and look forward to Edie’s next endeavor.
I’m tempted to offer spoilers – what what fun is that? Instead I will let you delight in her ups, downs and down-right hysterical moments when you read it for yourself. Are you excited? You can buy it now or enter to win one (or both – it makes a great holiday gift!). The entry is below:

This book sounds hysterical – I can’t wait to see if the content lives up to the exciting title. There’s so much humor to mine in traveling!

  5. Oh my gosh. I have GOT to read this! I love titles that make you go “Wha?!” I read “Avoiding Prison and Other Vacation Goals” a few years back and the title did not disappoint either. Will definitely be reading this one whether I win the book or not.
